Shenzhen, China – Nov 15, 2018 | Indie Prize, an international scholarship program created by Computer Games Association (CGA) for independent game developers and hosted by Casual Connect together with a host partner iDreamSky, announced the winners of the 24th Indie Prize Awards at Casual Connect Asia 2018 in Shenzhen – representing the best in independent game design and innovation.

Launched in 2005, Casual Connect is hosted by Computer Games Association (CGA), bringing together the most talented and knowledgeable experts in the gaming field to further the industry with the best learning and networking opportunities for gaming professionals. CGA hosts four Casual Connect conferences every year in different regions: USA, Asia, Eastern and Western Europe.
During three days of Casual Connect Asia 2018 guests had access to lectures, panels and workshops from the leading industry experts from companies such as Tencent, iDreamSky, Epic Games, Microsoft, Animoca Brands, Huuuge Games, Facebook, Shanda Games, Google Play Apps and Games, The Walt Disney Company Limited, Wargaming, Unity Technologies and others. Two official networking parties were hosted by FLOWPLAY and MYTONA at the end of the conference days. 100 of the world's best indie games that had been selected by 34 judges were shown at Indie Prize showcase. The venue also featured a large expo area with more than 100 companies: iDreamSky, Vungle, Zplay, MIGU Co. Ltd, Pangolin Ad Network, Applovin, KamaGames, Curate Mobile, App Samurai, DCMN, Zucks, BlueStacks, Do Global etc.
Being subsidised by CGA, Indie Prize scholarship program provides up to 100 talented developers from all over the world with an opportunity to join the deal making event with industry leaders for free. Indie Prize finalists are selected by a group of 30-40 judges and provided with two free conference passes, free showcase spot and free accommodation during the conference in an indie hostel.
United under a Game Nation title more than 150 local events and contests nominate the best local indie games to the Indie Prize showcases. Appodeal Indie Game Blast Off Contest, BEKRAF Game Prime 2017, BIG Festival, Codemotion, devcom, Game Scope, GameDev Days conference, GTP Indie Cup, Indie Game Ignite CompFest 9, QUO VADIS, RESPAWN, Taipei Game Show, Tehran Game Convention, TOKYO SANDBOX 2019 nominated games to Indie Prize China 2018. The Best Multiplayer Game - Circle Of Sumo by Yonder, Italy - was nominated to the showcase by Indie Prize Nomination partner in Italy - Codemotion Rome 2018.
MIGU Co. Ltd supported Indie Prize as a Platinum sponsor, Flowplay - as a Gold Sponsor and Do Global - as a Silver sponsor. Prizes for winners were provided by: Photon , iDreamSky and INLINGO.
